This summer’s theme begins with a BANG. Wepah!

R.Evolución Latina has something to celebrate. Why? When was the last time you heard of a young company (merely one year old) making headlines all year? NIKE, La Mega, BCEFA, Antonio Banderas. These names represent integrity and power, and they’ve aligned with our mission to DARE TO GO BEYOND.

May 20th, marks yet another spectacular opportunity for us. An intimate gathering of devotees and activists will share in a private dinner at Tony Dinapoli's on behalf of uprising success stories. A few weeks ago, R.Evolución Latina members volunteered to help the BCEFA Easter Bonnet collection. $115,000 was honorably gathered between In The Heights and R.Evolución Latina. Over $3 million in collections were raised throughout all Broadway shows combined; a true representation of teamwork defined.

Due to our affiliation with BCEFA, R.Evolución Latina has been awarded with a percentage of the funds which it will dedicate to original programs and workshops, education and partnerships and artistic productions to further develop its mission. The Shakespeare Project, Opening Eyes, and R.Evolución Latina Choir are examples of how we promote and instill motivating programs within our community. Our new website holds even greater success, with its own unique tale. Victor Rodriguez, one of the founding members who helped “name” R.Evolución Latina, built this site from scratch. A talented graphic designer, Rodriguez Dared to Go Beyond by teaching himself HTML coding while building our site. He exemplifies our circle effect by coming to NYC from Puerto Rico and following his dream of being a graphic designer. So, fellow activists, press and interested parties… the power is in now your hands. Our 2nd Annual D2GB Children’s Camp will take place in July with a sponsored group from Puerto Rico, new teens and returning children from the 5 boroughs.
