Case Studies

Interactive Videos

Within two years, we implemented over 22 podcasts videos and interactive ads for our clients and brought them up to speed with technologically advanced marketing programs.

JAM Cosmetics: Elizabeth Barry & Associates produced 5 online videos for the company' website, www.JAMcosmetics.net, creating consistent traffic and more visitor time spent on their website. Dancers can learn how to apply their makeup online and can instantaneously purchase the products shown within the videos through JAM’s webstore. We also produced a 30 sec commercial which is now premiering on over 198,000 Tezoro Productions, LIVE at Broadway Dance Center instructional dance videos. Each of her videos can be used at dance competitions, trade shows, to drive online sales as well as partnership programs and retail store events.

Brand Creation and Innovative "Firsts"

JAM Cosmetics: Following the lead of successful makeup brands, we implemented strategies to build JAM palette Philosophies so that each buyer became 'connected' with the products. We scripted motivational labels describing each palette's unique capabilities. We also hired an illustrator to originate (8) JAM characters representing different dance genres. As her brand develops, the inspirational palettes and iconic brand characters are expected to warm the hearts of dancers and teachers.

Contest Development

Studio Beat and JAM Cosmetics: We brought together two powerful partners to create an online contest. The Eyes that ROCK contest was developed to provide an opportunity for dancers to visit the JAM cosmetics website and name a mystery eye shadow with a music-inspired theme, thus driving lead generation for both companies in addition to allowing visitors to subscribe to Studio Beat magazine for a discounted price. Email Blasts, web banners, and print ads drove traffic for this contest and allowed our clients to reap the benefits of sharing new potential buyers.

TREND Creation for Charity

SequinsDirect.com: SequinsDirect.com is the dance world’s first online website for buying sequins at wholesale prices. Elizabeth Barry & Associates developed a cause-marketing effort with a fashion-forward celebration that united the dance world. The POWER of SHINE™ wristband was invented with co-branded industry partners and proceeds for each wristband purchase are donated to dance charities, DRA and Dancers Care Foundation. The sequins wristband puts forth the ideology that dancers have the power to give back, unite with others across the US and help raise money for charity by wearing the fabric that shows their craft-dance.

Celebrity spokespersons within three demographic including competitive dancers, Broadway and film, as well as choreographers and master teachers were included in addition to a photo shoot by elite dance photographer, Eduardo Patino. To date, thousands of dollars have been raised and we’re looking to bring together dancers from all ages and studios with this trend. Wristbands are sold online at SequinsDirect.com and competition partners have donated to the cause by selecting colors and selling them on their competitive tours.

Press and Promo Release Writing and Distribution

With years of industry 'insider' experience, Elizabeth Barry realized that there were few companies informing each other with news; whether it be a product launch, product development, or partnership announcement. We began an opportunity to share newsworthy promotional messages for clients and colleagues. Within a year and a half, we sent hundreds of informative announcements that have increased partnerships, branding, sponsorships and networking. A number of our press releases have been included in top industry publications as well as local newspapers, in addition to being published 3rd on PRWEB on the day of one release.

Partnership Development Programs

Scene Interactive: We worked with a young, innovative company - Scene Interactive: the first website to allow choreographers and dancers to have an online resume presence. Scene Interactive is revolutionary and they’re ahead of their time with technologically advanced applications for the dance world. We partnered them with many well known companies, including Capezio. Through this effort, Scene has a prominent presence on the Capeziodance.com home page and has been included in their direct mail brochures, e blasts, retail store events and competition partnerships. In addition, four Capezio podcasts will be created with both companies. The first podcast aired Winter, 2007 with an exclusive interview with Chorus Line dancers. The result: partnering new companies with well-established brands increased productive efforts and equates to partnership success.
